Cairo, the current capital of Egypt and the largest in Africa and the Middle East, is one of the most crowded cities in the world. It contains some of the most famous landmarks, including one of the world’s wonders, the Three Pyramids, and the Sphinx. The day begins with a visit to the Three Pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Sphinx Valley Temple. This is followed by lunch at one of Cairo’s restaurants. After lunch, you’ll visit the Egyptian Museum, where its statues chronicle ancient history.
Based on the plane’s departure time from Cairo to Luxor, it will be determined whether it is possible to visit the old souk of Khan el-Khalili and if the stay will be in Luxor or Cairo.
Enjoy a visit to the monuments of the world’s greatest and oldest civilizations. The city of Luxor, or ancient Thebes, showcases a variety of monumental buildings and underground carvings.
In a single day, we’ll visit the most famous sights in Luxor:
Karnak Temple: Located on the East Bank of the Nile, known as the “City of the Living” and the administrative center of the country.
Valley of the Kings: On the West Bank of the Nile, known as the “City of the Dead.” Here, you’ll visit three tombs and see the mummies prepared for their journey to the afterlife.
Memnon Colossi and Medinet Habu Temple: The entrance to the West Bank features the famous Colossi of Memnon and the Medinet Habu Temple, known for its remarkably preserved vibrant colors from ancient times.
We’ll also enjoy lunch between visits, with the schedule organized by your Egyptologist.
Hotel pickup and drop-off
Based on hotel location
The pickup time for the bus is either inside the hotel or waiting outside. The time is early morning, around 01:30 AM, depending on the hotel’s location. The journey to Cairo takes approximately 7 hours, with a 30 minutes rest stop during the trip. Please ask breakfast box from the hotel the day before by giving them your room number.
Based on the departure time of the plane from Cairo to Luxor, if the flight is at night, the stay will be in Luxor, and if it’s early the next day, the stay will be in Cairo.
In Luxor, we will make the visits mentioned in the program, including lunch, then return to Hurghada.
The program starts with a trip to Cairo to visit the three Pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum. Lunch is included during the visits. Depending on the departure time of the flight to Luxor, confirmation will be made as to whether the stay will be in Cairo or Luxor.
A visit to the west bank of the Nile, a visit to the famous Colossi of Memnon, the Valley of the Kings, Medinet Habu Temple, lunch. Afterward, the East Bank of the Nile, including Karnak Temple. Then return to Hurghada.
