Cairo, the current capital of Egypt and the largest city in Africa and the Middle East, is one of the world’s most crowded cities. It contains some of the most famous landmarks, including one of the wonders of the world, the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx.
Our day begins with a visit to the Egyptian Museum. Afterward, we’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. We will then visit the Mosque of Sultan Hassan and the ancient bazaar of Khan el-Khalili. Later, we will explore the old Coptic and Jewish quarters before returning to the hotel for check-in and dinner.
The following day, after an early breakfast, we will travel to Alexandria (approximately a 3-hour drive). There, we will visit the Citadel of Qaitbay, the Catacombs, and the Kom El Shoqafa archaeological site. We’ll have lunch between visits, then return directly to the hotel in Cairo for dinner.
On the last day, have a leisurely breakfast before checking out of the hotel. Then, visit the three pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple, followed by a trip to the Pyramid of Djoser and the Saqqara area. Have lunch at a restaurant in Cairo, and then return to Hurghada.
