The city of Luxor contains one-third of the world’s ancient monuments, so it deserves several days to visit its many tourist sites. Also, the Dendera Temple is one of the best-preserved temple complexes of ancient Egypt.
On the first day, we’ll travel directly to the city of Qena to visit the Temple of Hathor at Dendera, one of the most beautiful and well-preserved temples of ancient civilization. Afterward, we will take lunch in a local restaurant, then we continue on to Luxor for our overnight stay. After we check in and have dinner, you’ll have some free time to explore the city.
After breakfast and checking out the next day, we’ll head to the West Bank of the Nile. This area is known as the “city of the dead,” housing the ancient Egyptian mummies and tombs. Our first stop will be the famous Colossi of Memnon, which stand at the entrance to the West Bank. Following that, we’ll visit three tombs in the Valley of the Kings.
Afterward, we’ll see the famous Medinet Habu Temple, known for its remarkably vivid colors that have survived from ancient times. We’ll enjoy lunch at a restaurant in Luxor before continuing our tour.
In the afternoon, we’ll visit the most famous temples on the East Bank of the Nile, known as the “city of the living” and the administrative center of ancient Egypt. Our final visit will be to the magnificent Karnak Temple. After the visit, we’ll return directly to Hurghada.
Hotel pickup and drop-off

The pickup time for the bus is either inside the hotel or waiting outside. The time is early morning, around 4:30 AM, depending on the hotel’s location. The journey to Dendera takes approximately 2 hours & half. A representative or the Egyptologist will accompany the trip from the hotel and on the way back. The guide will organize the best order for the start of the program’s visits.
Please ask breakfast box from the hotel the day before by giving them your room number, how many persons, and the pickup time. Please bring some cash for drinks at lunchtime and for a tip for the tour guide at the end of the program.
During a visit to the west bank of the Nile, you will see the famous Colossi of Memnon, the Valley of the Kings, and Medinet Habu Temple. Afterward, you will have lunch before going to the hotel to check in and enjoy dinner. In the evening, you will have free time to explore the city of Luxor.
After breakfast and checkout, we’ll start our journey on the East Bank of the Nile. We’ll visit the famous Karnak Temple before having lunch at a local restaurant in Luxor. Afterward, we’ll travel to the city of Qena to visit the beautiful Dendera Temple of the goddess Hathor. Then, we’ll head directly back to Hurghada.
