This is a wonderful, comprehensive program rich with visits to Ancient Egyptian, Greek, and Roman antiquities. It also includes visiting ancient, sacred sites of great significance in Egyptian history after the Ancient Pharaonic era.
The stay at the hotel in Cairo includes breakfast and dinner, while lunch daily is included in the tour program.
The program also includes travel to the city of Alexandria (the Pearl of the Mediterranean) and visiting the antiquities the city holds, including lunch in Alexandria.

Day 1: We will visit the Egyptian Museum, the Muhammad Ali Mosque within the Citadel, the Sultan Hassan Mosque, the historic Islamic area, and Khan el-Khalili, Cairo’s oldest market. We will also explore the Old Cairo area, which contains several ancient churches—visited by people of all faiths—as well as the Ben Ezra Synagogue.
Day 2: You will visit the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, the Valley Temple, Memphis, Saqqara, and the Step Pyramid of King Djoser.
Day 3: We will have a wonderful visit to the city of Alexandria and its fantastic Greek and Roman ruins, and spend a wonderful day on the Mediterranean Sea.
Arrival at Cairo International Airport (CAI), where our representative or Tour Guide will meet and assist you. Transfer to the hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. Assistance with check-in at the hotel according to your accommodation plan, review of the tour itinerary and pick-up times at least for the 1st visits. Dinner and overnight stay in Cairo.
Your day begins with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to the Egyptian Museum in downtown Cairo. Your guide will share the history behind the museum’s artifacts and ancient statues. Next, you’ll visit the Citadel of Saladin and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali. The historical tour continues in the old Islamic area with a stop at the Sultan Hassan Mosque and the famous Khan el-Khalili market.
Later, we’ll head to the Old Cairo area to explore the ancient Coptic Churches and the Jewish Temple.
A lunch break will be taken at a local Cairo restaurant near the sites. Afterward, you will return to the hotel for free time before dinner.
Following breakfast, you’ll journey to the Pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. Lunch will be at a restaurant before heading to the next stop: Memphis, where you’ll see the monuments of King Ramses II. The final destination is Saqqara, one of the most important areas for understanding the origin of the pyramids, where you’ll visit the Step Pyramid of King Djoser.
Afterward, you’ll return to your hotel to relax and have dinner.
After having breakfast in the cold morning, we will head directly to the “Pearl of the Mediterranean,” the city of Alexandria, in approximately 3 hours. We will visit Kom El Shoqafa, Pompey’s Pillar, and visit the Citadel, and have lunch between the visits as time permits. Then, we will return to Cairo to spend the night at the hotel and have dinner.
After breakfast and getting ready, we’ll check out of the hotel and take the transfer to Cairo International Airport for the flight home.
